Teacher
Air Force Junior ROTC

After retiring from 21 years of military service, it is an honor to give back to the local community by teaching Air Force Junior ROTC for Gateway, Rangeview, and Vista Peak. Our main objective is to motivate young people to be better citizens; fostering leadership, discipline, self-confidence, and teamwork through a curriculum focused on citizenship, character development, and essential life skills.

About Me

In 2004 I graduated from Colorado State University and earned a direct commission into the Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer. After several years working flightline maintenance on fighter aircraft and multiple deployments, I transitioned to International Affairs, spending 6 years in Middle East embassies as a diplomat. From there I transitioned to Colorado University to teach ROTC, training and commissioning future Air and Space Force Lieutenants. I closed out my career returning to the flightline at Buckley SFB as the Director of Operations for F-16 Maintenance, as well as foreign relations as the Director of the Colorado National Guard's State Partnership Program.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling around the world, playing hockey, racing motorcycles, and wrenching on cars/bikes.
