Social Studies
I love teaching students at Gateway because of the vast diversity that I am exposed to. Students here at this school offer so many unique stories and perspectives that I find I get to learn from them daily. I love teaching Global Studies because it feels like a course that is made stronger with the verity of perspectives that the students bring to the subject.
About Me
I grew up in Fairhope Alabama. I moved 37 times before moving to Louisiana to begin my career as a teacher. I have been teaching for a decade in Louisiana. I was able to teach a wide verity of subjects such as US History, AP Physics, and many others. Having spent my entire life in the south I decided I wanted a change and used this summer to move to Colorado. I was joined by my wife. Mrs. Waldrop, who is a fellow teacher here at the school. Since moving here we have loved every second in this beautiful city.
