Teacher
Art - Ceramics and Jewelry

I believe that art gives us the opportunity to reflect on the beliefs, cultural values, and interpretations we experience in life. It is important for students to be able to understand and create images that allow them to express themselves, think critically, and question the dominant paradigm. My teaching philosophy is focused on helping students to grow and develop, gaining the ablitliy to decode the world around them. My hope is that art education will be an inspirational experience for students to learn about themselves and interdisciplinary subjects. Helping students gain the skills of critical thinking that will serve them in their professional and personal lives is my goal.

About Me

I was born and rasie in Denver. I grew up skiing with my dad and siblings. I come from a creative family, my dad was an architect, my sister is an architect and so is my brother. I have always had some form of art in my life. Before I was a teacher I worked for several jewelers in Denver, including Tiffany & Co. I now use all of my love for art and life experience to teach others.
