Title: The WonderHorror Rulers
Artist: Sophia Martinez Tensun
Medium: Digital Art
Artist Statement: I decided to create this due to ideas that were swimming in my head about a certain card set (set of art pieces) in a game I play. That card set had the deck of cards as a part of it so I believe it'd be cool to do a twist on it in regard to it being more 'horror-like.' But not only that I've been meaning to test more of my skills on a horror piece, which made this ominous looking art piece.

Title: Los Poemas De Los Latinos (Poems of Latinos or of Inspiration)
Author: Cielo Betzabel Bejar Fernandez
Genre: Poetry
Artist Statement:  I decided to create it thinking about my life and everything I've been through, and I was also inspired by others and why everything I saw wasn’t easy, then I started writing down my own emotions and feelings

Artist Statement: "The Fallen Angels Lament" is a fantasy story about an angel of death and how she trains a new angel. I got the inspiration on a random night while I was trying to sleep, looking at my art. I wanted to make a story about it.

Title: Friend
Artist: Stephanie Lax
Medium: Digital Art
Artist Statement: This artwork is fanart of one of my favorite games, Deltarune. I really wanted to try my best to experiment with horror. I was inspired by similar drawings of the big cat (friend) I loved the way that other artists made him look terrifying, so I tried my best to draw my own interpretation of the character!

Title: Bodies, Jungles, and Immigration
Author: Najeth Villegas Rivero
Genre: Non-Fiction (Narrative)
Artist Statement: I decided to write about this story because it recounts one of my most impactful experiences in the jungle and demonstrates that nature and the world are not as beautiful as they seem. The genre that I feel best suits this story is suspense and horror.
