Social Studies

I am passionate about my job because I believe I can help by preparing each and every student for success in life after high school regardless if that is college, the military, or work. I believe every person is capable of learning and success. The key is to realize and unlock your potential. I love my job because nothing is more rewarding than helping a young adult unlock their potential.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Eastern Colorado. I wrestled in college for 3 years at Western State College before transferring and graduating from the University of Northern Colorado. I have been teaching and coaching High School since 2003. I have received a wide-range of training both in and out of the classroom. I have had extensive training in several areas including: International Baccalaureate program, AVID, CLD teaching practices, and College Board Advanced Placement program. I have also served as an AP Reader for the U.S. Government & Politics exam for 8 years ongoing. I consider myself a life long learner who is constantly trying to get better at my job.
