I’m passionate about education because a student’s time in the classroom impacts the person that they become. When I was in High School, I was shaped by teachers and coaches who went the extra mile for me. I discovered my own passions and discovered who I was. I hope to play a small part in helping young people step into the world as confident, skilled, compassionate, and motivated young adults.
I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and attended the University of Michigan. During my time at the University of Michigan, I ran on the Men’s Cross Country & Track teams. I love social studies because it teaches people how to exist in the world, how to take in news, and how to participate in our democracy. In my free time I love to run and bike, play guitar, watch Parks & Rec, spend time with friends, and read.
