Head Boys Golf Coach - Head Girls Golf Coach

About Me

I have been at Gateway HS since 2005. During that time I have been a math teacher, but I have also coached several sports at Gateway. I was the head baseball coach for 13 years, assistant girl’s basketball coach for 4 years, and am currently the head boy’s and girl’s golf coach which I have been doing for 13 years for the boys and 2 years for the girls. I love coaching both the boy’s and girl’s teams because that allows for me to have one seamless program with the same message going out to all the players!

Prior to joining Gateway, I worked at Hillcrest Golf Club in Durango, CO as an assistant which would allow for me to give lessons and work with kids and adults with their golf games on a daily basis. I love teaching the game of golf because it is a sport you can play for your entire life!

My wife and I have been married since 2004 and we have 3 amazing kids together. If we aren’t at one of their activities, you can probably find the whole family on the golf course hitting golf balls at the range, putting on the putting green, or playing a round together! We love to spend time with each other on the golf course and have created a lot of amazing memories out there!
