Freshmen Seminar
"You may not always end up where you thought you were going, but you will always end up where you were meant to be. " -Unknown. I didn't set out to be a teacher, but teaching found me during my Freshman year of University and it's been an amazing journey. I've had the privilege to teach over 5,000 students in my career and am excited to be an Olympian.
About Me
I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, but the travel bug bit early and I spent my Junior Year in Finland as a Rotary Foreign Exchange Student. That experience shaped me into the individual who I am today. I completed my Undergraduate degree in Education at Youngstown State University and began my teaching career in Central Ohio. I spent 14 years teaching in New York City before relocating to Colorado in 2018. Travel & adventure are what keep my soul content and I'm always planning where to go next. White water rafting is a passion and I've been lucky enough to spend 2 weeks rafting the Colorado through the Grand Canyon and to have floated the Zambezi through the Batoka Gorge in southern Africa. When school's not in session my husband, our two pups and I are usually adventuring somewhere outdoors.
