About Me
I have live in Denver/Aurora area my entire life and have known since I was in first grade that I wanted to be a teacher. I have attended schools in Denver and Aurora graduating from East High School. I attended Metropolitan State University and received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English Literature with a minor in African American Studies. After taking some time to myself, I decided to that 1st grade dream of being a teacher and went back to school. In three years time I earned two Master's degree both in education. During that time I got married and have two beautiful daughters ages 10 and 14. I have been teaching since 2012 starting with 7th grade Social Studies, then moving to both 7th and 8th grade English/Language Arts for the last 13 years. I am very excited to move up to high school and this new chapter in my life.
