Teacher
World Language - French
I am passionate about my native language and culture. I thoroughly enjoy working with my students as they succeed in learning French while emerging themselves in French culture. They know that I practice no non-sense while learning, but will reward their successes. I enjoy teaching students of different cultures. I find it very interesting to work in a family-style community at Gateway.
About Me
I was born and raised in Paris, France. I am the third child born to my parents who are of Vietnam descent. I arrived in the US 25 years ago, speaking very little English. I learned that I enjoyed teaching after working as an adjunct teacher at Wayne State University in Detroit (MI). I taught High School in Louisiana for 10 years before moving to Colorado, and have worked at GHS for the past 5 years. I am currently Head of the World Language Department here at Gateway. I love traveling and spending time with my family.
