English Language Development
My ELD students are some of the hardest working students I've ever worked with, and I love how much effort they put in everyday. I am passionate about teaching ELD because it provides a foundation of English literacy that students can apply to other subject areas, as well as their lives outside of school. I am eager to continue to contribute to a diverse learning community that places a high importance on learning.
About Me
I have lived in Aurora my whole life, and I love working in my community. I have both witnessed and experienced the gaps in our education system, so I pursued a career in education to help close these gaps and support students in every way I can. I am dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming classroom space, so that students feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes in order to enhance their learning experience. My goal as an educator is to ensure my students have appropriate support, so they can best demonstrate their learning.
