My favorite part of working at Gateway is seeing students get excited about health science and helping them make connections between what they’re learning in class and real-world careers in healthcare.
About Me
I’m Mrs. Courtney, the Coordinator of the Health Science Pathway at Gateway High School, where I also teach in the program. In my role, I oversee curriculum development, support students in exploring healthcare careers, and connect them with hands-on learning opportunities and community partnerships. I am a Registered Nurse with a background in acute care and hospital-based nursing, and I love bringing real-world healthcare experience into the classroom. One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching students discover their strengths and grow more confident in their goals. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time in the mountains, golfing, going to live music events, and most of all, being with my family.
