Benefits of Participating

Unified bowling pairs Special Olympic athletes with fellow students without intellectual disabilities. The purpose is to build new friendships and encourage inclusion. Here are some key advantages:

Physical:

  • Improved Coordination Health: Bowling requires aiming, throwing and balance to get to the goal of taking down the pins, aiding tin coordination

  • Enhanced Muscle Strength and Endurance: Honing in on accuracy, strength and flexibilty helpws with improving muscle strength

  • Increased Focus and Concentration: Bowling requires attention to the ball, lane, and pins, improving focus and concentration.
