Career and technical courses prepare Gateway students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand careers.

Research has shown that students who take one CTE class for every two academic classes minimize their risk of dropping out of high school while taking multiple CTE courses increases a student's likelihood of enrolling in trade schools, community colleges, and 4-year universities. Whether or not Gateway students know their career path, CTE Courses at Gateway High School will give them experiences and knowledge to help them along their journey.
