What do I get out of taking JROTC?

Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) is an Air Force sponsored life skills program for 9th-12th grade students.  The program develops personal potential, builds self-confidence and enhances communication skills.

JROTC motivates students to be quality citizens by instilling self-discipline, respect for self and others, and accepting personal responsibility.

  • Students gain knowledge and experience through classroom exercises and participation in teams and activities.
  • These experiences build future skills to plan, organize and lead.
  • Every student is capable of excelling in JROTC if they possess a positive attitude and are willing to try!

Meet our students and staff. We know you’ll love them.

We’re not just a group of buildings where students come to learn. We’re a family that cares about the success of every individual. We’re located in Aurora and welcome all students — those in our district and beyond. We have an open enrollment process and typically take applications from January through May.
