Noodles and Company Fundraiser – March 19th

Gateway Night at Noodles & Company will be on Friday, March 19th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 25% of all profits will go towards Prom 2010, and there is no flyer necessary, just come with an appetite! Noodles & Company is donating a complete menu sampler for six people, and this prize will be raffled off Friday night. Download a flyer here.

Our monthly CiCi's fundraiser is on Friday, 3/19/10. Eat at CiCi's (Abilene and Mississippi) on 3/19, and by turning in your receipt, Gateway Baseball earns money!

Diva Dress Drive March 17th

Girls, are you tired of paying a lot of money for a prom dress you will never wear again? Do you have a homecoming or prom dress you've worn before but would like to donate it because you will never wear it again?

Girls there are still dresses are available and new dresses have been arriving on a regular basis. If you need to set up an additional time to try them on, they can contact Dr. McCrill or Mrs. Tanguma

For a $10 cleaning fee, you can borrow the dress for Prom. We have a large selection to choose from and we are still accepting donations of dresses as well!

PTSA News and Meeting – March 15th

Our next PTSA meeting is Monday, March 15 at 7 pm in room 601. Our bylaws require us to elect officers for the coming year at this meeting.

Our agenda also includes after prom plans, our need for adult volunteers at after prom, and a look at how our school will be impacted by the budget cuts. Please mark your calendars to attend our meeting! See you soon!

Junior PROM Fashion Show

Junior Class will be sponsoring another Fashion Show. This will be at the Aurora Mall on March 20th, 3pm by Dilliards. We have over 30 of our students, both Juniors and Seniors, who will be modeling the latest prom fashions from Dilliards, Debs, and JC Penneys. The boys will be modeling tuxes from Men's Wearhouse. We also have some auction items that are incredible. One is a $2,200 FULL modeling workshop at Barbizon School of Modeling for one person. The show is free!

2010 After Prom Party – Family Sports Center

Gateway High School PTSA Presents the Annual
2010 After Prom Party Saturday, April 17 & Sunday 18th 11:30 pm – 4:00 am
South Suburban Family Sports Center
(Near E. Arapahoe Rd. & S. Peoria St.)

The Gateway PTSA continues to sponsor what has become a memorable tradition for Gateway students and approved guests. The After-Prom Party provides prom-goers with a safe, drug and alcohol-free environment to continue their celebration immediately after the Senior Prom.

Students and approved guests will enjoy unlimited video games, unlimited rides, laser tag, and more. The ice rink will also be open for three hours. Unlimited pizza, pop, nachos, and popcorn will also be served. PTSA is checking into the possibility of chartering a bus from prom to after prom. Please see Ms. Noe in the bookkeeper's office to sign up and indicate your interest in riding the bus.

Tickets are $10 and will be sold during lunch on April 7, 9, 12,14, and 16.

Gateway 2010 PROM “A Night at the Palace” – April 17th

Prom is April 17th, 8pm-midnight. Our theme is "A Night at the Palace" in Arabia. Our colors are red, purple, and gold. The location of Prom is the Sherman Street Event Center on 17th and Sherman.

Reminder that Prom tickets are on sale now for $35. The price will go up to $40 in two weeks.

Also, voting for the top 16 will start the week of the 15th. Juniors and Seniors must know their Naviance logon.
