What: Classroom sessions of Math or ELD English, or Ed2020 credit recovery
Classroom sessions will offer 0.5 credits in Language Arts or Math
When: Wednesday May 31st - Wednesday June 28th from 8AM - 11AM
Cost: $50 for classroom sessions (Math or ELD English) or $75 for Ed2020
$40 for classroom sessions or $65 for Ed2020 if student is on Free/Reduced Lunch

Ed2020 open labs will be on April 22, April 29, May 6, and May 13. The open labs will run from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and will be in the Library. This is a great opportunity for seniors trying to graduate. See your counselor with any questions.
Don’t miss the EspeciallyMe Conference focusing on African American High School Girls which will be held right here at Gateway High School on Saturday, April 29 at 9:00 a.m. There will be breakfast, lunch, a Keynote Speaker, workshops, gifts and a great time with all of your friends.
It is a fun, exciting Conference with about 500 girls from all around the Aurora and Denver area. Student Registration is $15 and must be received by this Friday, April 14.
Ask your Counselor, English Teacher or Ms. Cosey for a Registration form and return the form and payment back to them.

Seniors looking for great scholarship opportunities, look no further! The Aurora Public Schools Foundation Scholarships are now open. Please follow this link to find a large selection of scholarships which are open to APS students only. Please note the T. Matt Hirschfeld Scholarship is open to Gateway students only. Students can fill out one application to use for each of these scholarships, and must be submitted by 4PM on Friday April 7. See your counselor with any questions.
Annually, the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers partners with visual arts and literary arts organizations across the country and brings the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards to local communities. Students in grades 7-12 apply and submit their work in 19 different categories in art and writing while panelists look for works that best exemplify originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.
The Denver Art Museum has senior portfolio winners and award winners in ceramics and jewelry on display on the lower level of the North Building through March 24, 2017 (see examples in the slideshow above).
